Lafayette Regional Health Center is a 25-bed acute care facility that is deeply rooted in the community it serves. Lafayette Regional includes all new private rooms with private baths, state-of-the art imaging and testing services, a full range of general and laparoscopic surgeries, wellness programs, and rehabilitation services. With a broad range of services, nearly 20 medical specialties are covered at Lafayette Regional.
Lafayette Regional Health Center is currently looking for a PRN CT Technologist to cover any shift including weekends.
JOB OVERVIEW: Under direct supervision of the Radiology Director, the radiologic technologist will execute diagnostic x-ray and CT scan according to protocols established by the Radiology Department. Uses radiation protective devices, uses appropriate film/screen size & combinations compression paddle. Responsible for obtaining & documenting required pertinent information. Maintains a safe work environment. Assists in all clerical duties. Responsible for holiday coverage & backup call on a rotational basis. Transports patients to & from the department, &/or other services.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
EXPERIENCE: Diagnostic : Prefer one year of radiography experience in a clinical setting.
Cat Scan : Prefer one year of cat scan experience in a clinical setting.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Radiography. Shall obtain the minimum CEU required to maintain ARRT certification. CPR certification required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
