Position Summary:

A nurse practitioner is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides primary health care to hospital inpatients, observation patients and swing bed patients in conjunction with collaborating physician. Also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Additional duties include policy and procedure development and participation in program evaluation activities. Other duties to include primary care at Rural Health Clinics.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Masters degree in Nursing.


Certifications: Licensed as a FNP by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. BCLS certification required

Experience: Prior professional experience in an acute setting preferred, but not required. Self-directed, self-motivated, and works independently. Demonstrates communication skills, leadership ability, organization and time management skills. Ability to aid in coordination of admissions and discharge planning.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
