Director Med/Surg (RN)

Lafayette Regional Health Center is located approximately 45 minutes east of Kansas City in Lexington, Missouri. The 25-bed acute care facility features all new private rooms with private baths, state-of-the art imaging and testing services, full range of general and laparoscopic surgeries, nearly 20 medical specialties, wellness programs and rehabilitation services, as well as emergency services available 24/7
Under administrative direction, the Med Surg Nursing Director assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care. Provides administrative direction to development and evaluation of all nursing personnel. Acts as representative for nursing with the accompanying authority and responsibility for all nursing related patient care activities. Maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with administrative support services. Contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of the philosophy, objectives, educational and research efforts.

Qualifications:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accreditated school of nursing. Current licensure by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Supervision experience preferred. BSN preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as Charge/Staff R.N. Demonstration of supervisory and teaching ability.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
